You will be directed to a login page when you click Apply for Resident Membership, and asked for an 抖阴传媒 username and password. You may have received an 抖阴传媒 username through prior engagement with the 抖阴传媒, such as past membership or participation in CME or other events. If you are unsure of your 抖阴传媒 username, click Forgot Username. If you do not have an 抖阴传媒 username, click New User to create an account. If you need to reset your password, click on Forgot Password.

Joining the College as a Resident Member represents an important milestone in your surgical career, and signifies your personal commitment to furthering your professional development and conducting your surgical career with the highest set of professional standards. The 抖阴传媒 is here to support you on your path to 抖阴传媒 Fellowship.

Membership Requirements

Resident membership is available to surgical residents who have completed allopathic or osteopathic medical school and are currently enrolled in a residency or fellowship program focused on one of the 13 surgical specialties, such as:

• An Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education-accredited training program (for U.S. trainees)
• A Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada-accredited training program (for Canadian trainees)
• A training program accredited by an appropriate graduate medical education accreditation body in the country in which training is taking place (international trainees).听
• Note for Single-Degree OMFS Residents: Single-degree oral and maxillofacial surgery residents (DDS/DMD) are eligible to apply for Resident membership. Once you have completed training, to continue your membership, you must apply for Fellowship through the established process between the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the 抖阴传媒. This will require that you be in independent practice, have a broadly focused surgical practice that includes reconstructive surgery, and have an appropriate case mix that aligns with other surgical specialists. If you do not meet these criteria, you will not be eligible to proceed to Fellowship but will be eligible for Affiliate Membership.

Application Information

Complete the for Resident Membership. If you are an existing member or created a log in from a prior purchase, use your log in to access the application. Otherwise you will need to create a log in.

Before you begin your application, have the following information accessible:

• Information about your medical education
• Verification, in English, that you are currently in a surgery residency program. Accepted verification documents include:
  • This Verification form
  • A copy of your NRMP match email, a copy of ABSITE confirmation, or a copy of your residency program contract for the current/upcoming academic year (US trainees)
  • A copy of your MCC confirmation, RCPSC exam confirmation or CaRMS confirmation, or a copy of your residency program contract for the current/upcoming academic year (Canadian trainees)
  • An official document confirming your eligibility for entry into a surgical residency program (international trainees)
• Information about your graduate degree (other than your MD)

Annual Dues: $0

Application fee is FREE for Medical Students upgrading to Resident membership.
